Not a Child's World Anymore!

Every kid in the world is bribed. Be it to eat food or to do home work. Parents unknowingly create this habit in their children which becomes a social threat when these kids grow up, call it Corruption!

The concept of "Carrot and Stick" holds little relevance, once these kids are being rewarded all the time with Carrot rather than the stick. Cajoling kids with lies and petty promises makes them even more vulnerable to social stigma and creates doubts in their young minds about the rightfulness of elders.

I personally feel, Kids are fearless and inquisitive to learn all the things in the world. It is the responsibility of the people around them to bring up these kids with virtues that would give depth and truth to their personality.

Being born in the technology era, today's children are far more equipped and have the right to access information. So before these kids source it from TV and Internet, elders around can package them in a more fructiferous way!! Given the chance, at least let the "yield be fertile" !!

Yashpal Sharma... Why you got out??

Desperation on Dada's face.. like never before. Never have seen Sourav so pissed off.
He just walked out of the field so fast after the super over, was terribly dissappointed with himself.

Yashpal Sharma holds out in the deep, Sourav Ganguly was so frustrated that he could have kicked him in his genitals. KKR had the match in total control, had Yashpal Sharma and Sourav Ganguly stayed till the end, the Defending champions Rajasthan Royals would have licked dust.

Too many assumptions.. Right.. In the End, it was the brutal power of Yusuf Pathan that made the Royals realise that they were the team, which could repeat history.

Sourav got out in the penultimate ball, leaving Ishanth to face the last ball which lead to the super over.

Any sensible captain would have tossed the ball to a medium pacer, considering spinners could be easily picked on, even the great Shane Warne ruled himself out to bowl the super over and gave it to the young Kamran Khan.

Taking lead from Shane Warne, Brendum Mucullum captain of KKR should have given the ball to Ishanth Sharma or some other medium pacer, rahter than giving it to Ajantha Mendis which proved a disaster to KKR, nevertheless not taking any credit out from Yusuf for his monstrous hitting.

This Season 2 IPL has now arrived big time, thanks to yesterday's games, Daredevils v/s Superkings and RR v/s KKR.

IPL 2 now is widely open and the teams will have to fight hard to survive and stay on top.

British Blues!!

KP couldn't have been more cooperative! MS Dhoni the man with the Midas Touch, has for sure been blessed with great instincts and super cool "performing" team, the timing never bettered!

Every time after being beaten by a professional Indian Team, KP seems to have succumbed to this plot of playing hosts to lose!

Indians for sure are at their top of the game, and it is one unfulfilled dream of every Indian, Sachin doing a LARA and Chennai gets that treat!

Even though ghosts of 1999 were haunting as Sachin started to play, this time the writing was on the wall considering Viru's scintillating stroke play which modernizes the best form of Cricket and keeps good crowd flow considering the events taking place around the country!

Viru-Ghambir combination is more fatal than Air-borne Nuclear missiles targeting terror filled Taliban!

Considering the form, skill level, India has all ingredients to kick ass Australia,SA to reach the top of the ladder in all forms of the game!

Dada tata!!

Sourav Ganguly, a leader of no parallel, a rebel of shrewdest kind, who brings the opposition to its feet within in no time, has called it a day. VRS they call, but for the man who has accomplished what no other Indian captain even dreamt, the treatment has been a little offset.

The most successful captain of Indian Cricket, has the best cricketing acumen compared to all his counterparts. It is Dada who showed the great Steve Waugh the backdoor, when he tried to win the last frontier in 2001. The most intimidating Aussie cricket team, was served with same medicine they used - vengeance.

Most powerful mind games could be credited to this GOD on off side. The late coming for the toss, the superstitious bat changes, taking of his shirt at lords, the greatest sixes he hits on a spinner, how could one replace this legend.

Among the Fab 4, the most aggressive and the most pampered by the media had proved more points than he could make. He came back so strong into world cricket once, that Dada would be remembered for not only his greatness with the bat, but also the enduring perseverance, love for the game and never say die attitude.

As Ajay Jadeja says, "Sourav has accepted this with a golden handshake", one must realise the farewell to one of the greatest cricketers India has produced is still a little uncomplimentary.

Bid Adieu to the Prince of Kolkatta!!

Privacy.. Microsoft ishytle!!

The new IE 8 beta comes with a feature called "InPrivate" to surf the internet.

Microsoft has applied for a trademark on this term, which it explains as follows:

“Computer programmes for disabling the history of web cashing features of a web browser ... and for notifying a user of a web browser when others are tracking web use, and for controlling the information others can access about such use.”

Probably the functionality you always demanded to have, because privacy is what we would always love to have!!

May be we should say, Microsoft is "hearing it out" from the customers. These kind of innovations will lead to a better understanding and development of the "e" code of ethics for all people alike.

Happy privacy!!

My First Pay Cheque !!

Technically speaking this Rs.600 from findnearyou.com, is my first pay cheque. So with the heavy responsibility of answering many people in the future about my first pay cheque, I write down this entry into my blog to ascertain truth.

For my one day work, covering a Dalai Lama weekend special, organised by Alliance Francaise de Madras, and also a movie screening of Himalaya a Nepalese movie, I have been paid, but it was a long wait to get the cheque in hand!! Thank you Sathya!! (err.... sarcasm)

The way I spent it was the thing I would love to tell, bought a Richard Dawkins Book "God Delusion", then followed by a super meal worth Rs.143 and not to forget that 100 bucks which I gave as charity.

Coming to the Charity part, I had never planned it but eventually happened. Rather convert that word to "picha" because I gave that to a fcuker called mamu for breaching the traffic signal.

So that piece of money is what they say "dharma thu ku!!"

Kill you cops!! (errr... Someday!!)
